At Folville we aim to create a nurturing and enquiring ethos which is reflected in our R.E. teaching.  The pupils engage in systematic enquiry into the significant human questions that are addressed both by religion and other worldviews (eg humanism and atheism). Through this enquiry we aim to develop the understanding and skills needed to appreciate different responses to these questions while at the same time exploring and expressing their own responses.

We encourage children to explore and form their own values and respect the values and beliefs of others. We believe that by creating an awareness of the different traditions, customs and beliefs within the community we can enrich and enlarge the children’s understanding.
