Dear Parents and Carers,

We have two vacancies for parent governors to serve on the school’s governing body and we will be encouraging parents to nominate themselves after the October  half term break.

Being a member of our governing body is a fantastic way to make a difference to Folville by bringing your own professional skills to support the strategic leadership of the school. It is also a great role which will enable parents to build relationships and networks in your local community as well as making a vital difference to our children.

We have attached some information about the position of school governor and would love you to consider over the half term break if this is a role you could commit to.

Nomination forms will be issued on 28th October 2024  and you will have until the 12th November 2024 to put in your application.

If you would like any information about the role please do email the school office; we will ask an existing governor to get in touch with you after the half term break to chat through their experiences and the value they gain from the role.
