We are proud of our pupils’ achievements in the 2026 Year 6 SATs. The proportion reaching the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics combined was broadly in line with the national average, with reading outcomes above the national average. These are encouraging results in the context of our school community, reflecting our pupils’ hard work and the support we provide to children with a wide range of starting points and needs.
Reading is at the heart of life at Folville. We aim to develop confident, thoughtful readers who enjoy books and understand them deeply. Our next priority is to build on these foundations by helping more pupils achieve greater depth in reading and strengthening the quality of writing across the school.
