Under new leadership, Folville is building on strong foundations and moving forward with ambition and purpose. Our school development plan sets out clear steps to strengthen what we do well and to move from good to truly exceptional. We are proud of our history and even prouder of our direction — a school committed to continuous improvement, consistency, and care.

We use a restorative approach to behaviour, provide strong emotional and welfare support, and make sure respect and kindness are central to every interaction. Our staff go the extra mile, caring deeply for our children while challenging them to meet high expectations.

Reading is at the heart of our success and is recognised across Leicester City as an area of excellence. Our pupils develop a genuine love of reading, supported by skilled staff and a culture that celebrates books and language.

As our historic 1930s building undergoes renovation, we are investing not only in our environment but in our community’s future — creating a space that reflects the ambition, care, and pride of the people within it.
